Voter Information
The 2025 Election Cycle has ended!
The November 4th, 2025 election went smoothly, with results transmitted to the Eaton County Clerk’s Office shortly after 8:00 pm. Both the absentee ballot counting board at the township office and the high school gym polling location were cleaned up and closed by 9:30 pm. Turnout for the Village of Bellevue was about 18% of registered voters for in-person and absentee voters combined. Turnout for Olivet Schools was about 20% of registered voters for in-person and absentee voters combined. Contact the Bellevue Twp. Clerk with questions at 269-763-2989 or bellevueclerk@gmail.com.
EARLY VOTING
In addition to voting at the polls on Election Day and absentee voting, Early Voting will now be offered for all federal and state elections. Early Voting for Bellevue Twp. will be held in cooperation with most other Eaton Co. jurisdictions at the Carmel Twp. Hall for nine days prior to each election.
ABSENTEE VOTING
If you wish to receive an absentee ballot for this election or for all future elections, please contact the clerk for an absentee ballot application, which has a box to request to be added to the Permanent Ballot list. Rather than receiving an application for one or more of the elections every calendar year (as with the old permanent absentee voter list), you will apply once to receive a ballot for each election until you choose to be removed from the list. If you move, you will remain on the list and receive your ballot from your new jurisdiction at your new mailing address. If you move out of state, become ineligible to vote, move and fail to update your address, or fail to vote in six consecutive elections, you will be removed from the list.
